Being part of New Town means that not only are we familiar with SP's canteen, we also have this immense love for food and booze. My darlings Vanessa and Peixuan signed a one month package with Fitness First/True Fitness and they very graciously invited this unfit friend of theirs to join them to be gym rats on a 15day trial.

Like I said being a New Towner and one from the class of E2/3 2002, we love food. Back in Secondary One, Vern, Jacq Yihui and I ( we called ourselves Angel 4...yes i know, VERY LAME), each had $20 in our pocket. We spent every single cent of it on FOOD at Takashimaya's loft of food.

A leopard never changes its spot, years on, we still love food. Even before we reached the gym at China Square, the moment Vern mentioned about the raisin cream bun which Jiafa and Peifen declared it as orgasmic, we exchanged a look and immediately marched to the bakery and sunk our teeth into this truly soft orgasmic raisin cream bun. Freaking delicious. Who cares about yoga or gym when you have such heavenly sinful-tasting food?!?!!?

Scanning and qc-ing was part of my life in this first half of the year. As much as I pride myself as someone who is able to strike up conversation with any Tom, Dick and Harry, I never thought I would be able to meet and forge a tight bond with my collegues during my short stint at Prime Minister's Office.

Perhaps the biggest harvest I got from these few months is to be able to find someone who has the same weird kink-ed out music taste as me.
Songs that I bopped my head too can prove to be too old or "cold" for some.

In a world that is filled with 6 billion people and counting, it is not easy to find someone whom you can connect on the same level. It is even harder to find a good friend of the opposite sex. I am so going to miss Gab and Ben when they fly off to Sydney. This is the end of our Lonely 4 gang, eh? -shrugs-
