Food and Me

One of the main reasons
why our 8 years of friendship are still going on strong.
Food bound us all together!

As NewTowner and being a friend of Vanessa Neh-neh Tan, hunting for good food and sharing such info is a must. It is just like it is a sin if I know of a sale and don't announce it. I mean, Christians are taught to spread the Good News right? -winks-
Although I reckon I share more Good Food News and Good "care-n-concern-for-friend-" News than about the 4 Gospels.


The other time Vern brought us to Tampopo Deli, we were crushed when the cashier told us all cream puffs were sold out for the day. So I "swore" that if I ever were to go Liang Court again, i DIE DIE also must sink my teeth in this coveted cream puff and decide if it was worth it.

So today was D-Day.
Tampopo was my first stop and the cashier told me 2pm.
So we went shopping at Medi-ya and at 1.50pm, I walked, okay I chionged back to Tampopo and asked about the cream puffs. The cashier gave me a look and said "2pm".

Me: Can I reserve?
Cashier: We still left some for walk-in customers.

Me: So that means...I still can buy?
Cashier: How many you want?
Me: -delighted- 4! I pay now!

So was the waiting and unglam behaviour worth it?
EVERY SINGLE BIT OF IT.
