new skin

sorry to sound boastful at the start of the new year, but i personally think that this new blogskin is awesome. to further emphasize on this point, i'll use a colloquial Singaporean term..which is SIBEI CHIO AH! -chuckles-

I spent my the last day of 2009, learning an important lesson from Weiting.
That is, to be on good terms with the least popular teacher in school.
Because you never know what she may give you in return for your friendship and idolatry.
To think I was trying so hard over the past 3 years in poly, trying to be the blue eyed girl of Danny Yeo and Lee Tong King (which everyone else was doing too), while the very smart Weiting went on gossip tea sessions with Madam Chen Ying.
And on Christmas, Chen Ying gave a very generous gift to Weiting.
two hundred buckaroos.

I promise that if i ever manage to enter university, I'll keep an eye out for the least popular professor and be a friend to him/her. Why join the crowd in swooning over the most popular and interesting professor? Be special and aim the most boring one! Because, he may be eternally grateful to you and maybe, maybe, you will be rewarded handsomely.

Thanks Weiting, for teaching me this lesson only on the last day of 2009.
